Hi! My name is Marcie Porterfield. I’m a Spiritual Director based in Raleigh, North Carolina with a mission to create a safe space of listening to know yourself and God more deeply and in the process know how deeply loved you are.

After growing up in Dallas, I spent time working in Richmond, Cape Town, Washington D.C., and a few places in between before settling down with my husband, Stephen, 25 years ago, in Raleigh, North Carolina. My husband and I have three daughters who each bring their creativity and joy to the world in their own unique ways.

I love to read, travel, cook, and do anything outside. I have led lectio groups for the last thirteen years and have loved watching people be transformed as they train their ears to listen to God.
